A Miracle on West State
Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, except me and my Apple mouse.
I was working on our website, sizing images with great care,
In hopes that the final copy from Torey soon would be there.
The rest of my team were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of jQuery danced in their heads.
With the wife in a bad mood, and I in my sweats,
I had just settled down for a long night at my desk.
When out from the driveway there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.
Away to the deck I flew like a flash,
Tore open the sliding door and tripped over the trash.
With the launch deadline approaching, and just a few days to go,
I had no time for interruptions, absolutely zero.
Then, what to my tired old eyes should appear,
But Torey and Rachel and Kyle, all here.
With a tall dark driver, in a hurry to leave,
I knew in a moment it must be Steve.
“To help finish this website,” they said why they came,
So I whistled and shouted and called the rest by name!
"Now Declan! Now, Vicmar! Now, Gail and Demi!
On, Kevin! On Vince! On Jacob and Henry!
Let’s start a Skype chat, and make a good plan!
If this thing’s not done before Christmas, you know what will hit the fan”
The site was a monster, that none could deny,
Hundreds of unique pages, and thousands of links to verify.
So everyone took a section and away we flew,
And I was taking a break, to put the coffee on brew.
Just then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I swallowed my coffee, and was turning around,
Down the chimney, St. Nicholas came with a bound.
“It’s not Christmas yet,” I told the old guy in red,
“You’re a week early,” I said as he was shaking his head.
“I’m here to help too,” Santa said with a grin,
“We can’t wait for Christmas, this project must end!”
He shook off the dust, and twinkled his eyes!
Then threw off his bag and said “I’ve brought a surprise!”
Out of that bag, ran dozens of elves,
Each with a Macbook, and a punch-list for themselves!
So away we all worked, this team of fifty or more,
As the wife kept sleeping, I could still hear her snore.
The website was becoming a real thing to see,
Things were happening so fast, it was just like a dream!
As we added the final touches, mobile to be exact,
The old guy cornered me so fast I couldn’t react!
“Now that your site’s done, with a lot of help from me,”
“Take some time off for Christmas, and your family.”
Then he sprang to his sleigh, and to the elves gave a whistle,
“Let’s get back to the north pole, we’ve spent enough time here in Bristol.”
“Kids need toys, and we’ve still got plenty to make,”
And it was about that time, I saw my wife was awake!
“Honey the site’s done, it’s a miracle”, I said!
“What are you talking about Robert, this thing’s gone to your head!”
Then I told her the story, of the team, the elves, and Santa,
She said “Come to bed honey, you’re going bananas.”
So I took her advice, and headed off to sleep,
I must have been dreaming after all, so not another peep.
But the next morning, when I sat down in my chair,
The site was all done, they must have really been there!
So here’s our gift to you, our clients, prospects and the like,
We’ve put all of our talents, into this new website!
With keywords and categories, done never as before,
And services and solutions and graphics galore.
A true team effort, and everyone had a part,
A real Christmas miracle, I knew in my heart.
Old Santa left his mark too, as he flew out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a Great Website!"

It’s not generating enough (or possibly any) leads.
It’s not helping you close sales or bring in new customers.
It’s not doing anything (or at least very little) to help you GROW YOUR BUSINESS.
Do you have one or more of these problems? Stop right here and select a website plan that fits your business and your budget.
We don't just build websites, we grow online businesses.
Need a New Website?
The top ten reasons why you should get a new website:
Your website’s purpose isn’t that clear - A great website conveys a main message and theme in a clear, concise way. Your visitors should never be confused about who you are.
Your site is navigationally challenged - If you have a hard time finding information on your site, then think about your visitors. Making the experience hard on your visitors is a huge deterrent.
Your website looks out of date - Your mother used to say “first impressions last a lifetime” and she was right. An out of date website makes your business or organization look unstable or untrustworthy. A fresh, well designed website creates a lasting impression of integrity and stability, which gives visitors a warm fuzzy feeling about your business or organization.
You would like to do great things with your website, like communicate, but can’t - If you cannot update your own site when you want, you need a new site. You should be able to update your site instantly with news about you, your partners, or exciting things happening with your business and organization. You shouldn’t have to wait - the web is instantaneous, and your website should be too.
Your website is difficult to find via search engines - Many old, outdated sites, besides not being very pretty, aren’t attractive to search engines. Built structurally sound, a new website that’s updated often attracts attention and will rise in rank.
Your website is filled with pages of text - These days, instant gratification also pertains to reading. We want to know what’s going on within minutes, not hours. With such a short attention span, 150 – 250 words per page is plenty.
Your business or organization’s brand has changed - If you have a brand new logo, look, or tagline, it's important that your website be singing the same tune. You need to present a cohesive brand on every front.
Your website only displays correctly in Internet Explorer - While Microsoft used to have reign of the sandbox, there are other playmates currently in on the action – Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. Creating a good experience for all your visitors is important, no matter what browser they use.
You never receive a lead from your website - Your website should make contacting you a breeze, and you should be able to gather information from interested visitors. If you aren’t getting visited, then it is not doing its job.
You are embarrassed to give out your web address - Have you given someone the excuse, “My contact information is there, just pay no attention, we’re “updating” the site”? If you are making excuses for your site, it's time to stop. Just get a new site.

Corporate Website Redevelopment
Burke, Powers, and Harty's existing website was old, unattractive, and not very informative. They needed a completely new website design to showcase their modern business.
BPH contacted us to create a new web presence for them. They wanted a site that would include a detailed collection of their different services and coverage options. The website needed to be somewhere that a potential customer could go to get helpful information and request a quote. It was also important to have an option for filing a claim; they wanted to be available to current customers 24/7.
Their new website is a fully functional customer resource. It has an attractive design and contains all the information a customer could need. It also includes a blog for them to share important insurance articles and connections to their social media profiles.
Corporate Website Redevelopment
Johnson Commercial Development is responsible for a large number of successful commercial development projects in the region. Unfortunately, their impressive work was getting lost in an old, outdated company website. The old website did not reflect who they were as a powerful and modern company.
We performed a complete redesign of their old company website. Everything, including design and content, was changed to reflect the Johnson Commercial Development brand. Now, their website contains completed projects, current developments, available property listings and more.
The site is more than just an online brochure now and can help connect them to potential clients.
Dynamic eCommerce Site Development
Comphy Company had been dealing with an inferior website developer for over a year and still did not have a fully functional ecommerce website. Tired of waiting around, they needed someone who could recover their assets and hit the ground running.
When Comphy Company contacted us, we promptly took over control of their website development. Starting from scratch, we were able to get their website up and rolling in a matter of months. This was no simple commerce site either. There was a large catalog of products, and each item had multiple size and color options.
The most impressive feature of the site is the "build a bed" module. Users are able to select multiple different options for sheets, comforters, bedskirts, and more and preview them in real time in a digital rendering. This is immensely helpful to their customers and aids in the ultimate buying decision.
Since development was completed, this website has been reaching over $80,000 per month in revenue.
eCommerce Site Development
Spalena is a division of Comphy Company that makes sheets exclusively branded for Costco trunk shows. Once the series of traveling shows came to an end, Comphy was left with surplus merchandise and no venue to sell it.
Comphy approached us to build a small ecommerce website to off load their extra products. In under six weeks, we had the website online and ready to take orders. It is a simple interface, but covers all that they needed to promote and selling the remaining Spalena products.
Once the website launched, it saw tremendous success. In fact, Comphy has remanufactured several sizes and colors in order to continue offering the full line.
eCommerce Site Redevelopment
When PULP Digital was first established, we created several websites for loyal existing customers. The original Tri State Vet Supply website was one of those. After several years of ecommerce success, Tri State came to us ready for a revamp and fresh design.
This second version of the site boasts improved ecommerce functionality. Their typical users are farmers and large animal veterinarians, and neither are known for having much time to fool with a computer. The streamlined website and easy ordering make this new site very user friendly.
eCommerce Website Design
Comphy Company has always worked with other retailers to cross sell items that complement their line of microfiber sheets. They wanted an ecommerce site that could aid in selling these other items, but wouldn't interfere with their primary business on the main Comphy Company website.
My Favorite Things For Home was designed to fill this need. This basic ecommerce website offers several products from partner retailers that can be drop shipped to the customer.
Comphy Company can easily add new products and partners to the website as needed.
Modern eCommerce Site
With an existing eCommerce site suffering from poor performance, weak conversion, and no mobile support, Amerilam Supply Group turned to us for a highly creative, fully responsive site. And we exceeded their expectations in every area.
This Magento site includes support for configurable product pricing, seven pricing levels, and multiple niche sites for specific target audiences. Also included was support for the ASG Gold Rewards system, with increased discounts and rewards for those accumulating high points for their purchases and other interactions on the site.
The responsive nature of the site allows the customer to buy easily from virtually any size screen. This mobile functionality has been a huge advantage for the client , with nearly 30% of purchases coming from these types of devices. This is a huge increase from less than 2% mobile purchases on their prior site less than a year before.
Monthly sales from the site have more than doubled since launch, and promotional activities have just begun as of this writing. Watch for future case studies here for the results of those promotions.
Non-Profit Website Redevelopment
When approached by Rivers Way President, we saw this project as a great way to serve a vital local charity with their mission. With an existing website nearly 4 years old, the undertaking would include all new content and photography.
Charged with the task of website design was our relative newcomer, Kyle Henn. As you can see from the finish product, Kyle was up to the task. With a very vibrant an inviting site the fit's the brand of the charity organization, it reveals it's mission very quickly. It demonstrates the services provided to children of various needs, and how Rivers Way keeps these children engaged and active.
With a growing number of donors and donations, the client's new website has been recognized as a complete success.
Shopping Center Website
Johnson Commercial Development is in the process of developing a huge shopping center, The Pinnacle, expected to bring in business and revenue from all over the region. They need a website presence to aid in soliciting new businesses for the shopping center as well as to drive consumer interest.
The new website designed by our team is a simple, responsive design. It allows for easy edits, since the number of stores slated for opening will be constantly growing for the next year and beyond. Potential customers will be interested in the list of stores and the new section that highlights progress on the complex. More importantly, developers will be interested in the "Local" section of the site. This area details area information and demographic data - all the important factors businesses need to consider when planning a new location.
The Pinnacle website is built to grow with the development and will assist the shopping center's success.
